Move-Out Condition Report FAQ
Does this report prove who is responsible for damage?
No. It records observed conditions, but legal responsibility depends on the facts and applicable law.
Should both sides keep a copy?
That is a useful practice. Both landlords and tenants benefit from keeping their own dated records.
Important: This is a documentation aid. Recording a condition does not by itself establish legal responsibility, entitlement to compensation or a lawful deduction from a rent deposit.
