ONTARIO HOME INTEL · LANDLORD & TENANT BOARD

The Landlord and Tenant Board uses separate tenant applications for different remedies. A maintenance problem, tenant-rights issue, rent-reduction claim and alleged bad-faith termination do not use the same application.

Important: This is a navigation guide, not legal advice. Use the current Tribunals Ontario application and instructions and confirm the filing method before submitting anything.

September 21, 2026 form update: The T5 application was replaced by the LTB. Previous versions will no longer be accepted after November 30, 2026. The September changes also introduced new T5 rules for certain N12 bad-faith and N13 right-of-first-refusal claims.
