1. Sponsor and giveaway period
The Sponsor is Ontario Home Intel, Ontario, Canada. The giveaway begins when the Sponsor opens website registration and publishes the official launch announcement. The closing milestone is 150 unique eligible verified registrants. Each person counts once toward this milestone, regardless of their bonus-entry total. Test records, duplicate registrations and disqualified registrations do not count. New registrations and resource-bonus answers close when the system records that the milestone has been reached, or at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 1, 2027, whichever comes first. January 1, 2027 is the final closing deadline, not a scheduled draw date. The Sponsor’s server records determine receipt and closure.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada, aged 18 or older at registration. Sponsor employees and members of their immediate households are ineligible. Test, demonstration, fraudulent and disqualified records are excluded. One participant registration per person; using additional email addresses or accounts does not create additional eligibility. Eligibility may be verified before awarding a prize.
3. Website registration: one entry
Visit the OHI giveaway page, submit your name and email address, confirm the age and Ontario-residency requirements, accept these rules, and verify your email using the link sent to you. A verified eligible registration earns 1 entry. Registration is free. No purchase, paid Property Passport, marketing subscription or social-media action is required.
Verification links expire 24 hours after issue. A registration received before closure may be verified afterward only before its individual link expires and no later than 24 hours after the effective closing time. No new registrations are accepted after closure. Because people already registered may still verify, the final number of verified participants may exceed 150; those eligible registrations remain included. Reaching the milestone closes registration permanently for this giveaway even if a later eligibility review removes a registration. Verification does not reopen the period for new registrations or resource-bonus answers.
4. Optional free-resource bonus: one entry
After verification, open your private dashboard, explore the free Ontario Rental Navigator, and correctly answer the resource question before registration closes. This earns 1 additional entry, once per participant. Bonus entries improve prize odds but do not advance the 150-registrant milestone. An incorrect answer earns no bonus. The free-resource question is separate from the mathematical skill-testing question required of a selected potential winner.
5. Optional referrals: two entries each
Your dashboard provides a personal referral link. Each different eligible person who registers through that link before registration closes, verifies within the permitted verification window, and passes Sponsor review earns you 2 additional entries. Each referred person counts once toward the milestone after email verification; the two bonus entries do not count as two registrants. Referrals remain pending for bonus credit until reviewed. A pending, rejected, unverified, duplicate, self-referral, fraudulent or disqualified registration earns no referral bonus. There is no fixed limit on genuine eligible referrals.
Only the referral associated with a registration can be credited. The referred participant receives their own registration entry and may earn their own optional resource and referral bonuses. The Sponsor may remove bonuses if the underlying registration is found ineligible. Share links only where permitted and with people who wish to receive them; do not use unsolicited bulk messages, paid or fabricated registrations, automated accounts or misleading claims.
6. Prizes and weighted random selection
Two prizes are available to Ontario entrants: one $50 CAD Amazon.ca gift card and one $100 CAD Amazon.ca gift card. Total approximate retail value is $150 CAD. There are no separate regional prize allocations. Prizes are subject to the issuer’s applicable terms, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash through the Sponsor. A prize of equal or greater value may be substituted if reasonably necessary.
The Sponsor first selects a potential winner of the $50 prize using all eligible verified entries. That person and all of their entries are removed before a separate weighted random selection for the $100 prize. Each entry has equal weight within its applicable draw. A participant with more eligible verified entries has more chances in the weighted pool, but is not guaranteed a prize. The $100 prize is selected randomly; it is not awarded automatically to the person with the most entries. Maximum one prize per person.
For the first draw, a participant’s selection probability is their eligible entry total divided by the total eligible entries in the pool. For the second draw, the same calculation applies to the remaining pool after removing the first selected participant. Overall odds depend on entry totals and the first selection.
There is no fixed draw date. The Sponsor will conduct the two weighted random draws as soon as practicable after registration closes, all valid outstanding verification links are used or expire, and eligibility and referral reviews are completed. If the 150-registrant milestone is not reached, registration still closes at the final January 1, 2027 deadline and the draws proceed after verification and review. The public progress display counts unique eligible verified registrations, not bonus entries, and may be corrected if fraud or duplicates are discovered. Draws are performed by the Sponsor after review; reaching the milestone does not automatically select winners. The automated two-prize draw requires at least two eligible participants; if fewer qualify, the Sponsor will publish an update and will not fabricate additional entrants or award both prizes to one person.
7. Notification, skill-testing question and alternate selection
Potential winners will be contacted privately at their verified registration email address. Each must respond within 48 hours of the first notification, demonstrate eligibility, and correctly answer without assistance a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. Selection is provisional until these conditions are satisfied.
If a selected entrant is ineligible, fails to respond in time, declines, or fails the skill-testing question, the Sponsor may select an alternate at random from the remaining eligible pool for the affected prize, excluding any confirmed winner. Prize claims are handled privately. The Sponsor will never ask for payment, banking passwords or a credit card number to claim a prize.
8. Announcement and delivery
Confirmed winners will be announced after successful verification and acceptance. The Sponsor will publish only a first name and last initial, or an agreed public-facing name. Gift cards will normally be delivered electronically within 14 days after confirmation. The Sponsor will publish an update if the planned draw or announcement is delayed.
9. Privacy and communications
The Sponsor collects your name, email address, eligibility attestations, verification records, resource-answer result, referral relationships, entry totals and administration records to operate the giveaway, prevent abuse, review eligibility, contact potential winners and deliver prizes. Administrator referral review can identify the referring and referred participants by name and email; these details are not displayed publicly. Technical security records may be used to detect automated or duplicate submissions.
Giveaway information is used only to administer this giveaway. The Sponsor will never sell entry information, give it to advertisers or unrelated businesses, or add entrants to a mailing list. Website hosting and email-delivery providers may process information only to provide the services needed to administer the giveaway; information may also be disclosed where required by law. No purchase, entry fee or payment is required to claim a prize. Keep verification links and private dashboard links confidential. Only share the referral link provided for that purpose. 10. General conditions and platform disclaimers
The Sponsor may disqualify fraudulent, automated, abusive, duplicate or otherwise ineligible entries and may suspend, modify or cancel the giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control compromise fair operation, subject to applicable law. The Sponsor is not responsible for delivery failures or outages beyond its reasonable control. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Facebook comments, likes, follows, tags and shares are not entries and are not required. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Meta, Amazon or Amazon.ca. Participants provide their information to Ontario Home Intel.
